A fanatic of all forms of vocal music, LEE STOVALL is thrilled to perform with the Madison Choral Project again this winter season. Stovall currently teaches 6th through 12th grade choir for the South Milwaukee school district, and will also perform with the Milwaukee-based Present Music ensemble this fall. A proud 2009 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, he feels blessed to have Paul Rowe (voice), Beverly Taylor (conducting), Anthony Cao (cooperating teacher), and Julia Koza (education) as his mentors. In addition to his work as a classical choral singer (including performances with the Isthmus Vocal Ensemble, Madison Chamber Choir, and the Madison Opera Chorus), Stovall is an award-winning contemporary a cappella arranger and educational director for SingStrong Chicago, an a cappella convention which raises money for Alzheimer's research and local music programs. Outside of his musical life, Stovall enjoys spending time with his family and friends, being outdoors, and following the University of Wisconsin sports teams.
