Baritone JORDAN WILSON, a North Carolina native, recently moved to Madison to begin his doctoral studies in voice at the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a minor in linguistics. Before coming to Wisconsin, Jordan completed bachelors degrees in Voice and Music Theory and a masters in Voice at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. Jordan has performed major roles in Ariadne auf Naxos, Pelléas et Mélisande, For a Look or a Touch, This is the rill speaking, Marriage of Figaro, Secret Garden, and A Little Night Music. As an avid recitalist, Jordan won first place at Eastman’s Kneisel Competition for German Lieder. Currently, Jordan also teaches voice at Beloit College in Beloit, WI, and works as a teaching assistant at UW-Madison.
