DENNIS REECE, Bass-Baritone, received a BS degree from UW Whitewater as a broad-field music major in Music Education. He pursued a Masters in Music, majoring in conducting, at Arizona State University. Before moving to Madison in 1994, he participated in various choral organizations in Phoenix, AZ and San Diego, CA, including Bach and Madrigal Society, ASU Choral Union, San Diego Choral Artists and San Diego Opera Chorus. More recently he has been a member of UW Madison Madrigal Singers and was a member of the Madison Opera Chorus for over 30 productions and the backstage conductor, under the direction of conductors John Demain and Roland Johnson, for several productions including “Turandot”, “Tosca” and “The Pearl Fishers.” He is a founding member of Isthmus Vocal Ensemble. He was the former bass section leader at Christ Presbyterian Church and is a ringer for First Unitarian Society Choir’s All Music Sundays since 1996.
