Soprano CHRISTINA KAY, described as bringing “both vocal and acting charm” to the stage (Isthmus), is an avid performer and teacher in the Madison and Milwaukee areas. She recently made her Fresco Opera Theatre debut as a "Mermalien" in Rinaldo and the Galactic Crusades, and participated in both the Queens College Baroque Opera Workshop and the Madison Early Music Festival Baroque Opera Workshop. An active soloist and ensemblist, Christina frequently appears with the Madison Choral Project, Present Music's Hearing Voices, and the early music consort Eliza's Toyes. Equally at home in opera and musical theatre, she was recently seen as Dalinda in UW-Madison’s production of Handel’s Ariodante, and as Mrs. Segstrom in Four Season Theatre's A Little Night Music. Christina holds degrees from University of Wisconsin-Madison (M.M. Vocal Performance) and Gettysburg College/Sunderman Conservatory (B.A. Music), and young artist training from SongFest in Malibu.
