Cecilie is delighted to return for another season with MCP! Cecilie attended Augustana College in Rock Island, IL where she enjoyed participating in the storied Augustana Choir under Dr. Jon Hurty, touring throughout the country and Asia.
She also participated in the Chamber Singers, Augustana College Theatre, and Opera @ Augustana. Favorite roles include Ann in Alison’s House, Annalisa in Gift of Song, and Betty in the English-speaking premier of Friedrich von Klinger’s Storm and Stress. Cecilie previously enjoyed the privilege of singing in the Grand Rapids Symphony Chorus under the baton of Dr. Pearl Shangkaun, cantoring for the Cathedral of St. Andrew in Grand Rapids, MI, cantoring for the Diocese of Grand Rapids, and performing professionally throughout the Grand Rapids Community.
Other performing highlights have included studying with Sherrill Milnes and the VoicExperience program, and performances throughout the Chicagoland area, including performances through Northern Illinois University, Rockford College and Rockford’s Clock Tower Theatre. Cecilie resides in Middleton with her wonderful husband and three burgeoning musicians.
