This is CASEY SCHENKEL's first season with the Madison Choral Project. He has taught middle and high school music in public schools for six years in Wisconsin. He earned a Bachelor's degree in music education from Western Michigan University, studying under the direction of James Bass and David Little. While at WMU, he was a part of Collegiate Choir, University Chorale, Colligium Musica, co-created and directed WMU's first Co-ed A Cappella Group No Strings Attached, and Gravitas in which he was featured as the soloist for Ralph Vaughn Williams's Five Mystical Songs. He has also sung with Dudley Birder Chorale, Festival Choir of Madison, Wisconsin Chamber Choir, Choral Arts Society, Capitol Chordsmen, and Madison Chamber Choir. Casey is now living in Madison while continuing to teach in Dodgeville Public Schools.
